Key responsibilities

As a Financial Accountant, you will:

  • Prepare monthly and year-end accounts and balance sheet reports
  • Submit and manage VAT returns, reducing irrecoverable costs
  • Lead and support the Accounts Receivable team
  • Ensure compliance with statutory obligations and internal controls

What we're looking for

Must-have:

  • CCAB-qualified accountant
  • Degree in a finance-related subject
  • Experience in financial reporting and VAT compliance
  • Strong communicator with team leadership ability

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with Unit 4 (Agresso) finance systems
  • Previous public sector or education sector experience
  • Knowledge of payroll or cash-flow reporting
