Key responsibilities
As a Financial Accountant, you will:
- Prepare monthly and year-end accounts and balance sheet reports
- Submit and manage VAT returns, reducing irrecoverable costs
- Lead and support the Accounts Receivable team
- Ensure compliance with statutory obligations and internal controls
What we're looking for
Must-have:
- CCAB-qualified accountant
- Degree in a finance-related subject
- Experience in financial reporting and VAT compliance
- Strong communicator with team leadership ability
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with Unit 4 (Agresso) finance systems
- Previous public sector or education sector experience
- Knowledge of payroll or cash-flow reporting
