My client is seeking to add 2x Finance Assistants to their team within the next month. These roles are moving through the approvals process and are awaiting confirmation. The sooner you apply, the sooner we can get interviews scheduled!

Role Overview:

As a Finance Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of my client's financial operations. You'll work closely with the finance team, assisting with a variety of tasks to support day-to-day financial processes, including invoicing, reconciliations, and general transactional tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with processing invoices and payments in a timely manner
  • Reconcile accounts and help maintain accurate financial records
  • Prepare and review financial reports and statements
  • Support monthly and year-end closing procedures
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting
  • Process expenses and provide support to employees regarding finance queries
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Maintain filing systems for financial documents and records
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure financial accuracy

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a similar finance role (preferably 1-2 years)
  • Strong understanding of Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable processes
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude
  • A desire to learn and grow in the finance field
