The Business Analyst will work with internal and external colleagues to deliver strategic projects and organisational change. The role focuses on providing end-to-end business analysis, building strong stakeholder relationships, gathering and documenting business requirements, improving business processes, and ensuring technology solutions meet organisational needs.
Key Duties
- Deliver business analysis throughout the full project lifecycle.
- Gather, analyse, prioritise and document business requirements using appropriate techniques (e.g. user stories, use cases, requirements catalogues).
- Map existing business processes and design improved future-state processes.
- Maintain requirements traceability from initial capture through implementation.
- Review proposed solutions to ensure they meet agreed business requirements and expected benefits.
- Collaborate with quality assurance colleagues to ensure testing aligns with business requirements.
- Participate in peer reviews to maintain quality standards across business analysis outputs.
- Apply recognised business analysis tools and techniques to support effective communication and decision-making.
- Identify, engage and manage stakeholders throughout project delivery.
- Work with change management colleagues to assess improvement opportunities and support implementation of organisational change aligned to the technology strategy.
Essential Experience and Knowledge
- Business Analysis qualification (or working towards one), such as BCS, IIBA, ISEB or equivalent.
- Experience delivering end-to-end business analysis across projects of varying size and complexity.
- Knowledge of business analysis techniques, documentation and methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
- Experience facilitating workshops with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Microsoft Visio.
