The Business Analyst will work with internal and external colleagues to deliver strategic projects and organisational change. The role focuses on providing end-to-end business analysis, building strong stakeholder relationships, gathering and documenting business requirements, improving business processes, and ensuring technology solutions meet organisational needs.

Key Duties

  • Deliver business analysis throughout the full project lifecycle.
  • Gather, analyse, prioritise and document business requirements using appropriate techniques (e.g. user stories, use cases, requirements catalogues).
  • Map existing business processes and design improved future-state processes.
  • Maintain requirements traceability from initial capture through implementation.
  • Review proposed solutions to ensure they meet agreed business requirements and expected benefits.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance colleagues to ensure testing aligns with business requirements.
  • Participate in peer reviews to maintain quality standards across business analysis outputs.
  • Apply recognised business analysis tools and techniques to support effective communication and decision-making.
  • Identify, engage and manage stakeholders throughout project delivery.
  • Work with change management colleagues to assess improvement opportunities and support implementation of organisational change aligned to the technology strategy.

Essential Experience and Knowledge

  • Business Analysis qualification (or working towards one), such as BCS, IIBA, ISEB or equivalent.
  • Experience delivering end-to-end business analysis across projects of varying size and complexity.
  • Knowledge of business analysis techniques, documentation and methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Experience facilitating workshops with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Microsoft Visio.
