Morgan Hunt is proud to be partnering with a large public sector organisation in the search for an experienced Maintenance Joiner. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading, well-established organisation within the public sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on building fabric and joinery across the site.
- Undertake repairs and installations including doors, locks, windows, flooring, and general carpentry works.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and organisational standards.
- Diagnose faults and complete remedial works efficiently to minimise disruption.
- Complete minor refurbishment and improvement projects as required.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and completed tasks.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the maintenance team to ensure the smooth operation of the site.
Key Requirements:
- SVQ Level 3 in Carpentry/Joinery (or equivalent qualification).
- Proven experience in a maintenance joinery role, ideally within a large-scale or public sector environment.
- Strong knowledge of building maintenance and fault diagnosis.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- A proactive and safety-conscious approach to work.
- Willingness to participate in training and development programmes.
