About the role: Are you experienced in business development and keen to find an opportunity where you can make a difference? This organisation is looking for a Business Development Lead to support the identification, development, and securing of new business and funding opportunities. You will work with the Business Development team to deliver the Business Development strategy leading on priority areas focused on decarbonising homes. You will support the development, writing, and submission of compelling tenders and funding bids that are commercially sound, technically informed, and aligned to the organisation's priorities. This role will identify and secure new funding and partnership opportunities. You will research and track upcoming tenders and grants in the energy and fuel poverty sectors. Another focus will be identifying and securing new funding and partnership opportunities that enable innovation and long-term growth across the organisation's programmes. You'll work collaboratively across the organisation to embed good business development practice, working proactively with team managers across the organisation. You will have at least 3 years' experience in business development with proven expertise in securing funding for projects or services.
