Job Description
Morgan Hunt is partnering with a public sector organisation in Edinburgh to hire an Infrastructure Specialist on a permanent basis. In this position, you will be a vital part of the Digital Team, maintaining and enhancing IT systems within a Microsoft Azure setting. Your responsibilities will involve overseeing virtualised servers, network configurations, operating platforms, and software applications. You will also operate under an ITIL-based service framework, delivering second-line technical assistance.
You'll work closely with departments across the organisation and contribute to maintaining robust cyber security practices.
The Ideal Candidate:
You possess a degree in a relevant field or have comparable hands-on experience. You hold, or are in the process of obtaining, a professional qualification such as the AZ-104 Microsoft Azure Administrator.
You offer substantial expertise in Azure-based networking, virtual machine management, and VPN configuration within enterprise-scale ICT environments.
Proficiency in administering Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra, and mobile device management within a domain-based infrastructure is essential.
