\n Key Responsibilities\n

- Lead the design and delivery of mechanical building services projects across multiple sectors
- Manage project teams to deliver high-quality, coordinated engineering solutions on time and within budget.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Provide technical leadership in HVAC, heating, cooling, ventilation, public health, and low-carbon building services design.
- Oversee project planning, resource allocation, programme management, and financial performance.
- Review and approve technical reports, calculations, specifications, and drawings.
- Support business development activities, including preparing fee proposals, attending client meetings, and identifying new opportunities.
- Mentor and develop graduate, intermediate, and senior engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
- Ensure compliance with current legislation, British Standards, Building Regulations, and sustainability requirements.
- Promote innovation, digital engineering, and best practice throughout project delivery.

- Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or working towards chartership with CIBSE or IMechE.
- Significant experience delivering mechanical building services projects within a consultancy environment.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, public health services, low-carbon technologies, and sustainable design principles.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary design teams and coordinating with external consultants.
- Excellent client-facing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets and programmes.
- Proficient in industry software such as Hevacomp, IES VE, AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design packages.
