Due to continued investment and growth, a market leading engineering organisation is seeking a Project Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

Working within a complex engineering environment, the Project Manager will be responsible for managing and delivering key engineering projects from concept through to product release.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and delivering key technical projects including from concept, R&D, production and build, and installation.
  • Project values range from small modification projects of £300k up to complete bespoke machine design and builds at £3.5m.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, identifying critical milestones and coordinating resources to meet project objectives.
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to allocate resource, minimize costs, and drive continuous improvement efforts.

Work arrangement: Primarily site-based, Monday Thursday 08:15 17:00, Friday 08:15 15:15 (39-hours).

To be considered for this position, candidates must have proven experience delivering projects (as a Project Manager or Project Engineer) within an engineering/manufacturing environment. In addition, it would be advantageous to hold a recognised project management certification (Prince2, APM PMQ), and/or a formal Engineering qualification (HNC, HND, or degree). Exposure to a mechanical or electrical 3D CAD package would be useful.
