An established global engineering organisation is looking for an Engineering Applications Analyst to join its technology team in Fareham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience supporting engineering software, PDM/PLM platforms or enterprise applications within a technical environment. You'll play a key role in supporting and improving the systems used by engineering teams across multiple regions, working with applications including SolidWorks, Altium, Siemens, National Instruments and the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence and Bitbucket). What you'll be doing: Administering, configuring and supporting engineering and enterprise applications Managing system upgrades, migrations, implementations and maintenance Supporting users, permissions, onboarding/offboarding and licence servers Troubleshooting technical issues across Windows and Linux environments Working with IT and Engineering teams to improve application performance and reliability Maintaining integrations, plugins, workflows, documentation and automation scripts Supporting databases including MSSQL, PostgreSQL and MySQL What we're looking for: You'll need hands-on experience with at least one of the following: SolidWorks PDM or other PDM/PLM systems Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence or Bitbucket Siemens engineering applications Altium National Instruments Experience with Windows/Linux servers, SQL databases, PowerShell or other scripting/automation, or administering enterprise applications would be a strong advantage. A relevant degree, HND or similar qualification in Engineering, IT or Computer Science would also be beneficial. This is a hybrid position working four days on site in Fareham and one day from home per week.
