Due to continued investment and growth, a market-leading manufacturing organisation is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. Working within a complex engineering environment, the post holder will be responsible for the full life-cycle design of various parts and components within a technical engineering environment. Key details: * Full product life-cycle design of a variety of parts, components, and systems for a high-tech and complex product line. * Working on exciting design projects from cradle to grave with a focus on new product development. * Producing concept and detailed designs covering a high-tech product range. * Working closely with customers, suppliers, and other internal functions in relation to design projects. * Producing relevant engineering documentation and ensuring design work is completed on time and within budget. To be considered for this position, candidates must have proven experience designing mechanical components and/or systems using a top-end CAD package (Solidworks, Catia, Creo, Inventor, etc.). In addition, it would be advantageous to a formal qualification (HNC, HND, or degree) in Mechanical Engineering, or related field. In addition to a competitive salary, this position comes with 33 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays), a company pension scheme, and life insurance
