Due to a significant uplift in work, a well-established and prestigious manufacturing organisation are looking for Shift Maintenance Technicians (electrical or multi-skilled) on a permanent basis. The position is working in a unique, clean and fast-paced production environment with a range of complex, high-speed machinery and auxiliary plant equipment.
Shift pattern:
- 24/7 rota on a 35-day cycle (12-hour day and night shifts)
- Average 34-hour working week with only one weekend in 5
- Just 14 shifts across 35 days, offering excellent work–life balance
- Opportunity to pick up extra shifts/hours as overtime paid at x1.5

The role will involve:
- Carrying out reactive and planned maintenance on a wide range of equipment, including complex automated production machinery, control panels, and control systems
- Minimising downtime within a high-speed manufacturing environment
- Working with both modern and legacy machinery across two adjacent factory sites
- Supporting the Maintenance Manager with site projects and operational requirements
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at improving equipment performance and efficiency
To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must hold a Level 3 NVQ/C&G qualification (or higher) in either mechanical or electrical engineering. Maintenance experience in a similar position within a manufacturing/production or distribution environment is also required. Successful candidates will undergo security vetting and will need a clean criminal record and have lived in the UK for at least the last 5 years.
