A global specialist manufacturing organisation are currently recruiting for a Senior HSE Advisor to join their business on an interim basis for an initial 3-month contract.
Working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of Health, Safety and Environmental compliance while promoting a positive safety culture across the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with UK HSE legislation and company standards.
- Lead risk assessments, COSHH management and safe systems of work.
- Support incident investigations, audits and corrective actions.
- Conduct shop floor inspections, behavioural observations and safety engagement.
- Deliver HSE training, toolbox talks and inductions.
- Support environmental compliance and contractor management.
- Work closely with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality and HR teams to drive continuous improvement.
About You
- NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum).
- Previous HSE experience within manufacturing, engineering or an industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation.
- Experience of risk assessments and incident investigations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive, practical approach with a passion for improving safety culture.
Desirable
- NEBOSH Diploma (or working towards).
- IOSH membership.
- Experience within a regulated or safety-critical industry.
- Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
