A leading engineering focused manufacturer is looking for an Electrical Project Engineer to drive multiple electrical development and improvement projects from concept through to completion. If you enjoy owning complex technical challenges, influencing stakeholders, and delivering high impact engineering solutions, this role will suit you. You will act as a subject matter expert for electrical and automation across a 24/7 high volume manufacturing site. You will mentor maintenance teams, and ensure projects land on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. The role covers everything from engineering development of existing machines and systems (including PLCs, drives and inverters) to being the main point of contact both internally and externally on all project issues.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead and deliver electrical engineering projects from small improvements to major capex initiatives.
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Provide technical support to production teams and maintenance engineers.
  • Manage OEM service performance across the asset lifecycle.
  • Identify risks early, diagnose root causes, and implement solutions.
  • Maintain project schedules, cost control, and change management processes.
  • Support site infrastructure, facilities, compliance, and engineering best practice.
