A leading Engineering company based in Portsmouth are looking for an experienced TIG/MIG Welder to join their fabrication team for an initial 3 month assignment with the possibility of extensions into next year.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Mostly TIG Welding (some MIG), fabrication on regulated aluminium products to 3mm
- Fabricate, weld and construct products according to the design drawings
- Ensure all materials are measured correctly and precisely
- Work to complete highest possible standards of production, health and safety, and customer service are maintained at all times.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Relevant TIG Welding Qualification/experience.
- Experience of aluminium and stainless steel fabrication.
- Experience with hand and industrial tools.
- Ability to manually handle up to 25kg.
- Flexibility for overtime.
- Proof of working successfully as part of a team.
The role is based on a 37 hour week, early finish Friday with opportunity for overtime at x1.5.
