A leading Engineering company based in Portsmouth are looking for an experienced TIG/MIG Welder to join their fabrication team for an initial 3 month assignment with the possibility of extensions into next year.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Mostly TIG Welding (some MIG), fabrication on regulated aluminium products to 3mm
  • Fabricate, weld and construct products according to the design drawings
  • Ensure all materials are measured correctly and precisely
  • Work to complete highest possible standards of production, health and safety, and customer service are maintained at all times.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Relevant TIG Welding Qualification/experience.
  • Experience of aluminium and stainless steel fabrication.
  • Experience with hand and industrial tools.
  • Ability to manually handle up to 25kg.
  • Flexibility for overtime.
  • Proof of working successfully as part of a team.

The role is based on a 37 hour week, early finish Friday with opportunity for overtime at x1.5.
