Job Summary

Morgan Fuels is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Fuel Pump Attendant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, safely dispensing fuel, handling payments, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards on the forecourt. This role requires honesty, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Dispense petrol, diesel, and other fuels accurately and safely
  • Process cash, card, and mobile payments correctly
  • Issue receipts and provide correct change
  • Promote current fuel promotions and in-store products
  • Monitor fuel pumps and report any malfunctions immediately
  • Maintain cleanliness of pumps, forecourt, and surrounding areas
  • Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Report suspicious activities, fuel theft, or safety hazards
  • Reconcile daily sales and complete required paperwork when necessary

Requirements

  • Previous experience in retail or fuel service (preferred but not required)
  • Basic numeracy skills and ability to handle cash accurately
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Honest, dependable, and punctual
  • Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
  • Physically able to stand for extended periods and work outdoors
