Our client a leading Technology company based in Stoke On Trent is urgency looking for a Financial Controller. Working within a team, mentoring and dealing with budgets. Have experience with FX, VAT, audits and tax. Will be in the office and working on different financial control projects Key Areas:- * Oversee preparation of month-end, year-end and statutory accounts * Oversee VAT return * Manage audit process * Manage, mentor and motivate a finance team of 7 * Budgeting and forecasting and budget analysis * Decision making and contributing to financial strategy * Provide accurate financial statements, analysis and reports * Oversee tax and compliance * Develop forecasting models – profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow * Debtors and creditor management * Implementing change and improving performance with process improvements * Develop costing and pricing models * Manage and build relationships with financial partners, auditors and stakeholders * Represent the business in business meetings * Other ad hoc tasks Key Skills:- * Minimum 3 years previous experience in an FC role * Qualified * System implementation/upgrade experience * FMCG experience desirable * Sage experience desirable * Team management experience Please apply with latest CV for this excellent role
