My client, based in modern offices in Central Manchester, is a profitable and growing SME with an expanding B2B national client base.
This key new FD role requires a high calibre hands-on as well as commercially 'switched on' qualified Finance professional to operate within an experienced cohesive SMT to execute the company's ambitious growth strategy at this exciting key stage of their development.
Reporting directly to the MD/founder, key responsibilities will include:
- Manage and develop an efficient Finance team to provide robust and timely financial and management information.
- Develop the business systems platform and overall business infrastructure to ensure optimal efficiency and synergy across all functions within the business.
- Manage the year end statutory accounts process with close liaison with the Auditors.
- Develop the Management Accounts pack and supporting KPI's to highlight business performance trends and opportunities, working proactively alongside the CEO and other senior colleagues to support the ongoing profitable growth and development of the business.
- Operate as the key point of contact with all professional stakeholders.
- Overall, to operate as an influential key player within the business to ensure the company achieves its exciting profitable growth strategy.
Candidate Profile:

- The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a highly professional 'right first time' approach with strong business integrity and a positive attitude to seek to exploit continuous systems and operational business improvements.
