The company is now embarking on a significant "buy and build" focused new growth strategy, targeting "bolt on" acquisition target companies across the UK within the £30m-£100m turnover range to further bolster the Group's market leading position.
As part of this new growth initiative, the M&A Director seeks a high potential M&A Associate to strengthen the existing experienced professional team.
The key purpose of the role will be to conduct financial modelling to support a range of "buy side" acquisition target appraisals.
As you gain more experience and develop in the role, you will be given increasing responsibility and rapid promotion prospects to be involved in the full end-to-end acquisition M&A process - from origination to deal execution.
The successful candidate will possess a strong "strategic mindset" and financial modelling skills with specific experience in your career to date gained in a related "deal" professional services environment, i.e., corporate finance, transaction services or similar corporate M&A team.
This will be a highly flexible and mobile hybrid role - the successful candidate can therefore be located anywhere in the UK.
You will be given the autonomy to use your initiative to work proactively to deliver high quality professional support with no two days the same - expected likely WFH 2-3 days/week, plus face-to-face contact by car/train with colleagues at the headquarters or other regional offices as well as occasional attendance at target company sites.
The "right" high potential professional will be highly driven and ambitious to "make their mark" within this dedicated new high profile M&A acquisition team which will be recognised and rewarded with strong ongoing promotion prospects.
The successful candidate will be offered a highly competitive salary package:
- £50k - £60k starting salary.
- F/E car or car allowance
- 20% annual bonus
- Comprehensive additional corporate benefits package
