My client is an expanding group of Engineering Services SMEs based at its Business Centre in Lymm, Cheshire. This is a great career opportunity for a hands-on Part-Qualified/Finalist/Recently Qualified Accountant to gain a broad range of Finance experience plus wider liaison across the business which has an extremely positive and professional working culture.
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, key responsibilities include:
- Operate as part of a small efficient Finance team.
- Production of monthly management accounts for various business entities.
- Support the FC to pull together consolidated group management accounts.
- Accounts and Balance Sheet reconciliations.
- Involvement in Annual Budgeting and regular Forecasting exercises.
- Business performance and profitability analysis.
- Input into production of year end Statutory Accounts, liaising with the Auditors.
- Daily interaction with both Finance and non-Finance colleagues at all levels across this fast moving, high growth business.
Candidate profile:
- Part-Qualified/Finalist or Recently Qualified.
- Hands-on proactive style/approach.
- Management Accounts production experience.
- Strong Excel spreadsheet skills.
- Commercial business understanding to liaise effectively with all functions across the business.
My client offers a competitive starting salary between £40k-£45k (DOE and level of qualification) plus Bonus scheme benefits package.
