The firm has recently launched a sizeable new VCT lower mid-market Private Equity growth fund targeting high quality ambitious SMEs across the Yorkshire, East Midlands and Humber regions with equity cheque investments up to £5m.

This hands-on Investment Director role will span responsibility for:

  • Supporting the development of a small, high quality Investment team.
  • Marketing the Fund using your strong professional network as well as leading the proactive identification of "off market" SME targets across the region.
  • Managing the entire deal process from origination to completion.
  • Ongoing "business partnership" professional support and advice to portfolio companies to achieve their strategic goals in order to maximise their profitable growth potential and shareholder value on successful future exit.

The successful candidate will either already be a successful Investor or alternatively an experienced Corporate Finance professional looking to make the career step into a PE Investor role. You must also be self-driven, results-orientated with a clear focus on quality and performance, as well as having an engaging personality with the ability to build strong and trusted relationships across the deal-making professional community and portfolio companies.

In return, my client offers a competitive starting salary up to £120k plus strong annual bonus potential and participation in the Fund "Carry" scheme which is expected to deliver significant future value.
