I am delighted to be working in exclusive partnership with this high growth International Manufacturing Group, t/o now in excess of £150m, with its HO & largest Production site based here in Blackburn, Lancashire plus other Manufacturing sites within Europe & US.
This ambitious Group has recently successfully attracted significant new PE investment to drive their exciting business growth strategy including major investment in new state-of-the-art Production facilities plus proactive ongoing Acquisition/M&A selective focus to further strengthen the Group's market leadership position within their specialist Industrial markets.
This represents a tremendous career opportunity for a high calibre Practice trained ACA with relevant Group Financial Reporting/Consolidation Management experience in Industry.
Reporting directly to the Group CFO based here in Blackburn, you will gain an incredible range of experience/exposure:
- Lead and develop a small well-motivated Group Finance team.
- Deliver timely and robust consolidated monthly accounts and business performance commentary for the Production sites across the group.
- Lead statutory reporting and year-end accounts production, coordinating Audit planning and delivery.
- Support the external Tax advisors to ensure Corporation Tax compliance delivery across the group.
- Provide proactive Cash and Working Capital reporting and forecasting.
- Lead and coordinate the implementation of the new Microsoft Dynamics ERP system.
- Work closely with the Group CFO to provide rigorous financial analysis for ongoing significant business development opportunities, including new Investment appraisals, NPD, Acquisition/M&A targets etc.
- Operate as a key point of contact with all professional stakeholders including Auditors, Tax advisors, Bank and PE partners plus proactive daily liaison with functional Heads across the Group.
- Overall, to play a key role within the wider Group Management Team to support the successful growth and development of this leading International Manufacturing organisation plus valuable future direct involvement in the eventual optimal PE exit process.
Candidate profile
- High calibre ACA with strong Group reporting and consolidation experience.
- Strong ERP experience with ability to improve and automate financial processes.
- Wider commercial business acumen to be able to provide constructive "challenge" to support key decision strategy.
- Strong and effective team player/manager with a grounded mature style and approach.
- Confident with excellent communication skills and high professional standards to be able to develop strong trusted relationships at all levels across the Group.
