About the Role
As a Loss Assessor with Morgan Clark, you’ll manage both residential and commercial property claims. You’ll assist policyholders throughout their insurance claim, attending site visits, liaising and negotiating with involved parties to secure a fair and timely settlement. This is a home-based role, with the support of a dedicated back-office team. You'll have autonomy over your caseload while being part of a collaborative and supportive company.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a close working relationship with customers, to promote customer satisfaction throughout every stage of the claim.
- Providing efficient, customer-focused and cost-effective service by managing claims from instruction to completion.
- Investigating and assessing residential and commercial property claims up to £1m.
- Responsible for full reports on each visit and diary management, dealing with your own caseload.
What We’re Looking For
- CILA or CII qualified (preferred)
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the industry
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage a large and varied caseload independently
- Excellent client relationship skills and a calm, professional manner
- Proven track record in managing relationships at all levels
- Methodical, conscientious, and adaptable — especially during surge periods
