Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Senior Group Reporting Manager is a key role in developing and delivering the group’s external reporting. The role will be a key point of contact for the wider finance community within the business as well as the Group tax, FP&A and treasury teams.

Key Figures: Revenue £1,100.7m (2024), ~8,000 employees, manufacturing in 20+ countries, and a global customer portfolio. A UK PLC with head office located in Windsor, Berkshire UK. Listed on London Stock Exchange; Member of the FTSE 250 Index.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the monthly consolidation of the Group, review consolidation journals prepared by members of the team and a key point of contact for queries from the local finance teams.
  • Assist in the planning of half year and year end process and acting as a key point of contact for the external auditors.
  • Researching and drafting accounting memos on technical areas of accounting.
  • Assist in the preparation of audit committee papers.
  • Supporting in updating group accounting policies and providing training to local teams.
  • Collaborate with the systems team on changes to the system for new accounting requirements and process improvements.
  • Building strong relationships with the Group tax, treasury and FP&A teams.
  • Assisting in the accounting for the group’s share based payment schemes.
  • Assist in the annual impairment review process.
  • Working as part of a wider team to deliver the annual report.

Qualifications

  • Technically qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent) trained in practice with a top tier firm.
  • Experience of half year and year end reporting in a listed group.
  • Experience of multi-currency consolidations.
  • Experience in using consolidation systems.
  • Experience of being a key point of contact for auditors.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills.
