Location: UK - remote (covering UK, Netherlands & Belgium)

The role

You’ll spend most of your time with customers – figuring out what they’re trying to achieve, solving problems, and turning those conversations into opportunities. It’s a mix of technical sales, account management and business development. Some days it’s pricing and margin work, other days you’re on-site talking through applications and making sure we’re delivering what we promised.

Responsibilities

  • Grow profitable sales by expanding existing accounts and winning new ones
  • Hit sales, pricing and margin targets (and understand the numbers behind them)
  • Act as the main contact for customers across the UK, plus selected accounts in NL/BE
  • Identify, nurture and convert new opportunities in the Transportation segment
  • Provide technical and commercial support from enquiry to after-sales
  • Work with customers to create application-specific solutions using our products
  • Coordinate with engineering, operations and other teams to deliver what’s been agreed
  • Keep customer relationships healthy and improve satisfaction where needed
  • Use CRM to keep pipelines, visit reports and quotes up to date
  • Represent the business at industry events, trade fairs and conferences
  • Follow Morgan’s Responsible Business Programme in your daily work

Qualifications

  • An engineering or materials science background (or similar technical grounding)
  • 3–5 years of technical sales experience, ideally in manufacturing or industrial markets
  • Strong commercial sense – pricing, margins, budgets, the full picture
  • Experience with both direct and indirect sales channels
  • The ability to spot opportunities early and move fast on them
  • Solid negotiation skills
  • Experience selling technical or high‑value added products
  • Comfortable talking with engineers, purchasing and senior leaders alike
  • Fluent English (Dutch is a bonus)
  • Nice to have Dutch language skills
  • Experience in carbon, materials, or industrial components
  • Exposure to European sales environments
  • CRM experience
  • Any informal leadership experience – coaching, mentoring, influencing
