Our Stourport facility is at the forefront of precision engineering, producing cutting-edge solutions for industries that demand excellence. We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to help optimize our processes, ensure top-tier product quality, and drive efficiency across our production lines.
Responsibilities
What You’ll Do:
- Optimize Manufacturing Processes – Develop and implement cost-effective, high-efficiency production methods.
- Enhance Product Quality – Monitor, test, and refine manufacturing processes to maintain exceptional quality standards .
- Equipment Oversight – Ensure machinery is properly maintained, repaired, and optimized for smooth operations.
- Data-Driven Improvements – Collect and analyze production data to identify trends and boost performance .
- Lead Projects – Manage continuous improvement initiatives in cost reduction, process efficiency, and product development.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work alongside design, procurement, and quality assurance teams to align manufacturing processes with company objectives.
- Ensure Compliance – Maintain adherence to industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices .
- Train & Mentor – Support and guide production staff on new processes and best practices.
Qualifications
What You’ll Bring:
- Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency in CAD software and relevant computer programs
- Experience with injection moulding processes/equipment
- Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma certification (preferred)
- Familiarity with automation, robotics, and ERP systems
- A passion for continuous improvement, efficiency, and innovation
