About the Role
Morgan Technical Ceramics is seeking an experienced Temporary Production Manager to lead day-to-day manufacturing operations at its Corby site. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring production plans are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards while providing strong leadership to Supervisors and production teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily production activities and ensure delivery against production plans.
- Manage, coach, and develop Supervisors and shopfloor teams.
- Monitor operational KPIs and drive performance improvements.
- Ensure smooth shift operations, effective communication, and staffing stability.
- Champion Health & Safety and maintain compliance with site standards.
- Work closely with Quality, Engineering, and Planning teams to resolve issues and optimise performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and efficiency.
About You
- Proven experience in a Production Manager or similar manufacturing leadership position.
- Strong people management and coaching skills.
- Experience managing production targets, quality standards, and operational performance.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and decision-making abilities.
- Committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Experience within a high-specification manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
