Are you a commercially minded account manager with experience managing major DIY retail accounts? Do you enjoy working with powered tools and battery-led product ranges in a fast-moving, retail-focused environment?
A well-established and highly respected supplier within the DIY and garden retail space is looking to appoint a National Account Manager to manage and grow relationships with key UK big-box customers. This is a strategic, high-impact role, focused on developing long-term partnerships, driving joint business plans and supporting continued growth across cordless and outdoor product categories.
What's the Job?
- Manage and develop relationships with national DIY and garden retail accounts
- Own joint business planning, ranging, promotions and forecasting with key customers
- Drive sales growth across battery-powered tools and outdoor power equipment
- Act as the commercial link between retail partners and internal teams
- Support new product launches, seasonal planning and in-store execution
- Analyse sales performance, margins and category trends
- Provide regular reporting, forecasts and competitor insights
What Do I Need?
- Experience managing national or strategic retail accounts within DIY, garden, tools or a related sector
- Strong understanding of battery-powered / cordless tool ranges
- Proven ability to manage pricing, promotions and forecasts
- Commercially astute with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Confident communicator, comfortable working with senior buyers
- Well organised, self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously
