The Opportunity

We're recruiting on behalf of a rapidly growing, scale up Agri-tech business that produces an organic, chemical-free fungicide (and equipment to do so) used across soft-fruit and top-fruit farms. They're looking for a Field Service Engineer to support growers across the UK. This is a hybrid role: part engineer, part customer relationship lead. You'll install, maintain, and optimise on-site systems while building strong, long-term partnerships with farm teams. If you enjoy variety, independence, and working directly with customers, this one will suit you perfectly.

Key Responsibilities

  • System installation - commissioning and setting up the units on customer sites
  • Technical diagnostics - identifying mechanical, electrical, or software faults and resolving them efficiently
  • Preventative maintenance - ensuring maximum uptime during critical growing periods
  • Customer training - supporting growers with safe, effective system operation
  • Relationship management - acting as the on-site technical expert and trusted point of contact
  • Reporting & documentation - completing service logs, site reports, and feedback for continuous improvement

What You'll Need

  • Level 3 qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Multi-Skilled Engineering
  • Experience in field service, agricultural engineering, water treatment, or similar technical environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
  • Confident communicator with a customer-focused mindset
  • Willingness to travel UK-wide (Scotland down to Kent)
  • Full UK driving licence & your own car
