We are recruiting on behalf of a leading food production and packaging operation in Suffolk. The site is a high-volume, fast-paced facility processing and packing fresh produce for national distribution year-round. This is a mechanically focused maintenance role, supporting the reliability, uptime, and performance of automated production equipment across site.
Key Responsibilities
- Mechanical maintenance, repair, and servicing of production and packaging equipment
- Responding to breakdowns and carrying out fault diagnosis in live production environments
- Working on conveyors, drive systems, bearings, gearboxes, pumps, wash systems, and packaging machinery
- Supporting planned preventative maintenance schedules
- Assisting with installation, adjustments, and continuous improvement work
- Working across production areas, workshop spaces, and chilled environments
