I am currently working with a well-established, family-run horticulture business that is known for its quality products, reliable service and strong customer relationships. As the business continues to grow, they are looking to appoint a hands-on Operations Supervisor to support their fulfilment and stock control operations, particularly during busy seasonal peaks. This is a key role for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, practical environment and takes pride in leading teams, improving processes and maintaining high levels of accuracy.

The Role

  • You will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day activities of the order fulfilment team, ensuring customer orders are picked accurately, packed efficiently and dispatched on time.
  • You will also take ownership of stock control processes, helping to improve inventory accuracy, visibility and reporting across the business.
  • You will act as a key operational contact for both internal teams and customers, supporting smooth communication and consistent service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support the order fulfilment team, including 4 permanent staff and agency workers during peak periods.
  • Train and oversee agency staff to ensure consistent standards are maintained.
