We're working with a growing fresh produce business looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to join its commercial team. This is a customer facing role with responsibility for key accounts, category development, commercial growth, buying & selling.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing and developing key retail customer relationships
- Driving sales, margin and category growth
- Developing category plans and identifying new opportunities
- Managing forecasting, pricing and account performance
- Keeping on top of market, consumer and competitor trends
- Working closely with procurement, supply chain, technical and operations
- Finding solutions to customer and supply challenges
- Helping improve cost, quality and product availability
- There will also be some UK and international travel involved.
