You'll meet customers, understand what they're looking to achieve, put together accurate quotations and help turn enquiries into confirmed work. Day to day, you'll be involved in: Meeting customers on site to discuss their garden and landscaping requirements Preparing estimates and quotations for residential landscaping projects Selling projects and managing customer relationships Advising customers on construction methods, materials and practical solutions Working with the wider landscaping team to ensure projects are delivered successfully Overseeing projects from initial enquiry through to completion Supporting garden design work where required Managing costs and helping to maintain healthy project margins You'll be working closely with the Landscape Manager and the wider team, with a good mix of office work, customer meetings and site visits. About You The most important thing is a good understanding of landscaping construction and how to price projects accurately. You could already be working as a Landscape Estimator, Sales Manager or Project Manager, or you might be an experienced Landscaper or Site Manager looking to move into a more commercial role. Ideally, you'll have: A solid background in residential landscaping and garden construction Experience estimating or quoting for landscaping projects A good understanding of materials, labour costs and construction methods The confidence to meet customers, discuss their requirements and sell projects Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple enquiries A practical approach to problem solving Garden design experience would be beneficial, but isn't essential You don't need to be a qualified garden designer. The priority is finding someone who understands how landscaping projects are built, what they cost and how to deliver them profitably.
