An established and progressive farming business is looking for an Experienced Tractor Driver to join its Farm Operations team.
This is a varied, hands-on role working across vegetable and arable rotations, with access to a modern, high-specification machinery fleet and precision farming technology.
The role
You'll play an important role across cultivations, crop establishment, harvest support and haulage, operating modern, high-horsepower tractors and heavy cultivation equipment.
Key responsibilities will include:

Primary and secondary cultivations and land preparation

Supporting planting, crop establishment and harvest operations
-
Haulage and general field operations
-
Using GPS and RTK auto-steering systems
-
Daily machinery checks, routine servicing and defect reporting
-
Maintaining accurate field and operational records
-
Working closely with farm management and workshop teams
-
Maintaining high standards of machinery care and Health & Safety
-
Working flexibly during peak seasonal periods
About you
We're looking for an experienced tractor operator with a strong practical and mechanical aptitude, who takes pride in their work and machinery.
You'll ideally have:

Proven experience operating modern tractors and heavy cultivation machinery

Experience with primary/secondary cultivations and crop establishment

GPS or precision guidance experience
-
A full UK Driving Licence

Good mechanical awareness and attention to detail
-
A strong understanding of Health & Safety
-
Flexibility around seasonal working hours
Desirable:

PA1 & PA2
-
Telehandler certificate
-
Experience on Lincolnshire silt soils
-
Experience within intensive vegetable rotations, particularly potatoes, leeks or brassicas

Familiarity with digital farm management systems
