My client is expanding their Birmingham team and are searching for a Senior Utility Surveyor to join one of the UK's leading names in utility mapping, underground detection, and infrastructure surveying. If you're confident on site, strong technically, and ready for a role with scope, challenge, and career growth, this is the one.
What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering PAS128‑compliant utility surveys across mixed environments
- Using EML (CAT & Genny), GPR, GPS, Total Station and multi‑sensor survey equipment
- Interpreting utility records, drawings, and plans
- Producing high‑quality CAD drawings (AutoCAD / BricsCAD)
- Processing survey data using N4ce or equivalent
- (Desirable) Processing GPR data using IQMaps / GRED HD
- Supervising small teams on site when required
- Ensuring accuracy, compliance, and quality across all deliverables
- Working collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and wider survey teams
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience delivering PAS128 surveys
- Confident with EML, GPR, GPS, Total Station
- CAD experience (AutoCAD or BricsCAD)
- Experience with N4ce, LSS, Trimble Business Centre or similar
- Ability to work independently and solve problems on site
- Comfortable supervising junior staff when needed
- Full UK driving licence

- CCTV survey experience (Wincan)
