Senior Skilled Arable Operator

We're working with a progressive, family-run farming business in Cambridgeshire that's looking for an experienced Senior Arable Operator to join its team. Farming around 6,000 acres alongside a sizeable beef enterprise, this is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on, takes pride in their work and wants to take real responsibility within a well-equipped arable operation. The role You'll be involved in the day-to-day running of the arable operation, with a focus on drilling, cultivations and spraying, as well as helping out with harvest, forage and general farm work when needed. You'll be working with a modern, well-maintained fleet of tractors, cultivation equipment, a self-propelled sprayer, combine and forage harvester. What we're looking for Good experience operating modern arable machinery, ideally with GPS. Confidence with drilling, cultivations and spraying. PA certificates would be a bonus. Someone who takes pride in doing a job properly and looks after machinery. A practical, reliable approach and the ability to work independently. Someone happy to muck in with the wider team and put the hours in when the season demands it. A full driving licence. What's on offer? Competitive basic salary, depending on experience.
