We are working with a family-run business where people are at the heart of everything we do. We are looking for an experienced and driven Quality Manager to take full technical ownership of our site. This is a hands-on role with real autonomy – leading food safety, quality, and compliance systems while coaching and developing a strong culture of excellence across the factory.

What you\’ll be doing

Overseeing quality assurance from raw materials through to finished products.
Driving compliance with BRCGS standards and leading the site to maintain our AA grade.
Acting as HACCP Team Leader, ensuring robust food safety systems are in place.
Leading factory inspections and embedding strong GMP practices through cross-functional teamwork.
Managing audits, site visits, and EHO inspections, representing the business to customers and external bodies.
Monitoring KPIs, non-conformances, complaints, and product release to ensure effective close out and continuous improvement.
Supporting NPD projects with technical expertise.
Coaching and developing staff across the site to improve knowledge of Food Safety & Quality Systems.
Conducting monthly hygiene audits and actively managing shelf life to maximise customer value.
Working closely with commercial teams to ensure aligned customer communications.What we\’re looking for

Proven Quality Management experience in a UK food manufacturing environment (ideally with retailer or brand exposure).
Strong knowledge of BRCGS and QMS with a proven track record of improving food safety and quality.
Skilled in managing audits and inspections.
HACCP Level 3 minimum (Level 4 desirable).
Internal auditing experience.
Excellent people management and coaching skills with a hands-on leadership style.
A positive, proactive \”can-do\” attitude and customer-focused mindset.
Strong written and verbal English skills, with sensitivity to supporting a multilingual workforce.
Commercial awareness and the ability to balance compliance with operational efficiency.Ready to make your mark?
