About the Role
As Quality Control Manager, you will be instrumental in maintaining the highest quality standards while optimising efficiency. Reporting to the Technical Manager, you will oversee quality control processes, manage audits, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead & Inspire: Set the standard with a professional and positive approach.
- Ensure Compliance: Maintain food safety, traceability, and legal authenticity.
- Audit & Quality Checks: Oversee internal audits, traceability tests, and customer requirements.
- Waste Reduction: Monitor and improve packing efficiency while minimising waste.
- Team Development: Train, mentor, and support the Quality team.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Production, Warehouse, and Planning teams.
What We\βre Looking For
- Experience: Previous experience in a Quality Control/Management role, preferably with fresh produce, ideally within fruit.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of food safety, HACCP, and compliance standards.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to lead a team and work cross-functionally.
- Attention to Detail: Excellent problem-solving skills and data-driven decision-making.
- Organisational Skills: Ability to manage reports, audits, and compliance documentation.
- Flexibility: Ideally available to work Tuesday β Saturday or Sunday β Thursday.
