An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Lead Landscaper to join a well-established, high-quality landscaping business delivering bespoke residential garden build projects across South West London. This role is ideal for a skilled landscaper who enjoys taking ownership on site, leading by example, and delivering work to the highest standards.
You will be working on a range of domestic garden construction projects, overseeing daily site operations while remaining hands-on. Working closely with the Project Manager and Director, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and with exceptional attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and deliver all aspects of hard landscaping on site, from initial groundwork through to final finishes
- Read, understand, and accurately execute works from design plans and technical drawings
- Organise daily site activity, sequencing works and managing resources
- Quantify, order, and manage materials as required
- Supervise and support landscapers, agency staff, and subcontractors on site
- Maintain clear communication with clients, the office team, and management
- Ensure all works are completed safely and in line with Health & Safety best practice
- Consistently uphold high standards of workmanship, finish, and presentation
- Proven experience as a Lead Landscaper, Landscape Foreman, or Senior Landscaper
- Strong background in hard landscaping with a minimum of 4 years' professional experience
- Confident reading and working from plans and construction drawings
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage people on site
- Excellent eye for detail and pride in delivering premium quality work
- Good knowledge of landscaping tools, machinery, and materials
- Solid understanding of Health & Safety practices
- Horticultural knowledge is beneficial but not essential
- Full, clean UK driving licence required
- £34,000-£42,000 DOE
- A permanent, full-time position with consistent local work
