We are currently recruiting for multiple Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineers for a well-established food manufacturing site in Colne, Lancashire. This is a fast-paced FMCG environment operating within meat processing, offering stability, strong earnings and long-term progression. This is a hands-on engineering role within a busy production environment, supporting both planned and reactive maintenance activity across site machinery.

The Shift

Rotating days shift pattern: Monday to Friday: 05:30am to 1:00pm followed by Monday to Saturday with one day off during the week followed by a shorter Friday finish week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planned preventative maintenance across production equipment
  • Reactive breakdown response and fault finding
  • Mechanical and electrical repairs
  • Supporting production line efficiency and changeovers
  • Monitoring equipment performance and reliability
  • Working closely with production teams to reduce downtime
  • Maintaining accurate maintenance records
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety and food standards

What We're Looking For

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering
  • FMCG or food manufacturing experience preferred
  • Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding ability
  • Experience with conveyors, motors, pumps and packaging equipment
  • Proactive, hands-on approach to maintenance
