The Job
I am looking to speak with experienced Operations Managers who can take full responsibility for leading production and operational teams within a fast-paced, seasonal environment. This role will see you managing day-to-day operations across production, goods in, despatch, and quality, alongside key horticultural processes. You will be responsible for delivering the production plan, aligning labour to forecast, and ensuring operational efficiency at all times. A key part of the role will be driving continuous improvement, developing systems, embedding lean methodologies, and refining processes. For this role, being a visible leader is crucial as you will be building strong internal relationships, developing teams, and contributing to a positive and high-performing culture.
About You
- A strong background in operations or production management within a time-sensitive environment (such as horticulture, food, or similar)
- Proven experience leading teams in a fast-paced, agile organisation
- Experience with labour planning
