This is a varied position combining machinery operation, team supervision, and day‑to‑day nursery work.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring daily tasks are completed to a high standard, while supporting a small, experienced team and maintaining smooth site operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Support and supervise daily nursery operations across the site
- Work from management plans to deliver tasks efficiently and independently
- Operate machinery as part of daily production activities
- Maintain high standards of organisation, efficiency, and quality
- Carry out a wide range of practical nursery tasks across seasonal demands
- Conduct daily machinery checks and basic maintenance
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with expectations
- Assist and guide team members where required
- What We’re Looking For
- Strong background in a practical, outdoor or nursery environment
- Experience operating machinery such as tractors, telehandlers, forklifts, or similar
- Previous supervisory experience or the ability to step into a leadership role
- Good understanding of health and safety in a working environment
- Comfortable working independently and managing workload effectively
- Organised, reliable, and hands‑on approach to work
- Experience with tree work or pruning is advantageous
- Relevant spray certificates (PA1/PA2/PA6) beneficial but not essential
