An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Wayleave Officer to join an expanding infrastructure team, working on major infrastructure projects across East Anglia. This is a land-focused role, working closely with landowners, occupiers, contractors and project teams to manage land access and wayleave matters throughout the project lifecycle. The Role As Wayleave Officer, you will be responsible for: Managing and coordinating wayleave, land access and landowner agreements. Acting as a key point of contact for landowners and occupiers. Liaising with contractors to ensure appropriate notices and access requirements are followed. Supporting negotiations and resolving landowner queries and issues. Advising on matters such as access, fencing, water supplies and other accommodation works. Monitoring contractor activity and ensuring agreed land requirements are adhered to. Maintaining accurate records and keeping the wider project team updated on land matters. About You We are looking for someone with experience in wayleaves, land management, agricultural liaison or a similar land-based role. You will ideally have: Good knowledge of landowner and occupier relationships. Experience dealing with land access, wayleaves or rights of access. Strong communication, negotiation and organisational skills. An understanding of agricultural and rural affairs. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously.
