You\’ll switch between breakdowns, repairs and preventive maintenance on machines that keep the factory running. There\’s also plenty of variety in the type of work you\’ll do. You\’ll cover both electrical and mechanical tasks, in low-care and high-care areas, giving you exposure to different systems and standards. Put your problem-solving to use by improving machine performance and cutting downtime. You\’ll have the chance to make real improvements that keep the site moving and save time. Mentor apprentices and step up as Engineering Shift Manager when needed, giving you leadership experience without waiting years for promotion. And you\’ll work in a safe, well-structured environment where health and safety is taken seriously, so you can focus on doing good work without cutting corners. What you\’ll do Keep plant and equipment running smoothly by fixing breakdowns, completing repairs and delivering planned maintenance. You\’ll also spot and deliver improvements to boost reliability and reduce downtime. Take ownership of maintenance across the site, working in both low-care and high-care areas. You\’ll respond quickly to breakdowns and make sure equipment is back up and running as fast as possible. Carry out PPMs and take a proactive approach to planned maintenance, helping to meet uptime and performance targets. You\’ll also support and mentor apprentices and step up as Engineering Shift Manager when needed.What you\’ll need At least 3 years of maintenance engineering experience, with formal electrical qualifications. Strong knowledge of both electrical and mechanical systems, ideally supported by a BTEC Level 3 or equivalent.
