Field Technical Manager | East Anglia | £DOE Are you an experienced agricultural manager with a passion for potatoes? We’re looking for a Field Technical Manager to focus on the seed potato and potato processing side of our client’s business. If you have a background in agriculture and are ready for a hands-on technical role, we want to hear from you! About our Client: We are working with an innovative agricultural business who are based in Cambridgeshire. They are a large-scale, commercial farming business that offers employees the chance to grow and develop in a progressive and supportive environment. Our client grows field vegetables, potatoes, sugar beet and cereals to the highest standard and supplies the major retailers. They have a reputation for producing quality crops and are highly regarded in their sector. What you’ll be doing: Monitoring potato crops and keeping close relations with growers Seed crop inspections & contract discussions Overseeing food safety and ensuring compliance Supporting customer relations with technical expertise Helping with store management, planting, irrigation, pest control, and more Based on the Cambridgeshire/Norfolk border, you’ll be travelling across East Anglia meeting with growers on the daily. The Ideal Candidate: Strong experience in agricultural management – ideally, you’ve worked with potatoes, but experience with other fresh produce is great too! FACTS & BASIS qualifications would be a bonus. A full UK driving licence is essential for this role. You’ll need to be comfortable with data management, food safety documentation, and crop inventories as this will be an important part of your role, but full training will be provided. Most important?
