The Role
This is a hands‑on supervisory position, leading a small team of gardeners across multiple high‑profile sites. You will be responsible for ensuring the consistent delivery of exceptional garden maintenance standards, while also supporting, guiding, and developing your team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a mobile team, ensuring work is delivered to the highest possible standard
- Implement and oversee landscape maintenance plans across multiple sites
- Carry out regular site inspections and ensure quality control standards are consistently met
- Act as the main point of contact on‑site, delivering excellent customer service to clients
- Compile detailed maintenance reports, highlighting issues, recommendations, and improvements
- Ensure full compliance with Health and Safety regulations, including RAMS review and sign‑off
- Plan and coordinate day‑to‑day operations, managing workload across sites efficiently
- Support and mentor team members, encouraging development and best practice
- Undertake practical maintenance tasks where required, including mowing, pruning, planting and turf care
- Ensure all tools, machinery and vehicles are maintained, compliant and used safely
What You’ll Need
Technical:
- Proven experience in soft landscape maintenance, ideally in a supervisory or senior role
- Strong plant knowledge including pruning, pest and disease control, planting, irrigation and turf care
- Experience managing teams or leading work on‑site
- CSCS card preferred
- Full UK driving licence essential for a mobile role
- Strong understanding of Health and Safety, environmental and quality standards

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships
- Highly organised with strong time management and planning ability
