I'm currently supporting a leading fresh food manufacturer supplying major national retailers, who are looking for a Maintenance / Mechanical Engineer to join their site engineering team. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established business with genuine investment in its people, equipment and engineering function.

What you'll be doing:

  • Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across production and packing lines
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults to minimise downtime
  • Supporting PPM schedules and equipment reliability
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Working within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment to strict hygiene and safety standards
  • Liaising with production teams to keep lines running efficiently

What you'll bring:

  • A recognised Mechanical Engineering qualification such as an apprenticeship, NVQ, City
