Marketing Manager Location: Staffordshire Salary: Flexible DOE Hours: 37.5 per week B2B Marketing | Construction | Landscaping | Built Environment Are you a B2B marketer looking for a role where you can genuinely take ownership and have the freedom to shape how a business takes itself to market? I'm working with a large, established landscaping business with a strong reputation across commercial landscaping, housing developments, grounds maintenance and horticulture. They're looking for a Marketing Manager to take ownership of their B2B marketing activity, working closely with the Managing Director and wider senior management team. The Role This is a hands-on role with plenty of variety. You'll get out into the business, visit projects, work with operational teams and understand what clients are looking for - then turn that into marketing activity that raises the company's profile and supports both existing relationships and new business opportunities. Day to day, you'll be involved in: Creating and managing B2B content across LinkedIn, email and the website Visiting live and completed projects to gather content, photography and case studies Working with Contracts Managers and operational teams to understand upcoming projects Developing presentations, brochures, project sheets and sales collateral Supporting tenders, social value content and new business opportunities Managing email campaigns and the wider marketing calendar Supporting wider horticultural and nursery marketing activity Keeping the website and marketing materials up to date Working with senior management on marketing strategy and upcoming priorities Identifying opportunities to improve reach and strengthen the company's position in the market There's already plenty happening across the business - they need someone who can find the stories worth telling and make sure they're reaching the right people. About You You'll need to be a proactive B2B marketer who's comfortable taking ownership rather than waiting to be given a detailed brief. You don't need to come directly from landscaping. Experience within construction, housebuilding, property, facilities management or another B2B built-environment environment would be useful, but isn't essential. You'll ideally have: Previous B2B marketing experience Strong written and content creation skills Experience managing LinkedIn, websites and email marketing Practical graphic design capability, ideally Adobe InDesign and Canva The confidence to work directly with senior managers and operational teams A commercial mindset and an ability to spot opportunities Plenty of drive, creativity and initiative Full UK driving licence We're open on level. You could already be operating as a Marketing Manager, or you may be a strong Senior Marketing Executive looking for the opportunity to step up and take more ownership. Perks & Benefits 33 days' holiday including bank holidays Company pension Employee Assistance Programme Training and development Mileage reimbursement/pool vehicle for site visits Flexibility around start and finish times Some flexibility to work from home once established Direct exposure to senior management Plenty of autonomy to bring your own ideas to the role Genuine scope to develop the position and carve out your own role This would suit someone who wants more than a narrow marketing role. You'll have the opportunity to get under the skin of the business, understand its clients and projects and have a genuine influence over how it's positioned in the market.
