You will work with a diverse portfolio of rural and landed estate clients across the East Midlands, providing high-quality professional advice while developing strong, long-term client relationships. Alongside estate management and rural professional work, you will have the opportunity to help landowners and farmers understand and maximise the potential of their Natural Capital assets, identifying new income opportunities and supporting clients with their environmental and ESG ambitions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and developing existing rural estate and property portfolios
  • Providing rural professional and estate management advice to landowners
  • Lease renewals, rent reviews, landlord & tenant matters and property management
  • Managing client income, expenditure, budgets and CAPEX programmes
  • Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Identifying opportunities around Natural Capital, BNG and environmental markets
  • Advising landowners and organisations on their environmental and ESG objectives
  • Supporting the wider team with professional rural surveying work
  • Contributing to the continued growth and development of the rural consultancy offering

We are looking for an ambitious and commercially minded MRICS-qualified Rural Surveyor who enjoys working with clients and wants to develop their career within a forward-thinking business. You will ideally have:

  • MRICS qualification with a background in Rural Surveying
  • Experience in rural estate management and/or professional consultancy
  • An interest in, or experience of, Natural Capital, BNG or environmental markets
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • The ability to manage your own workload and work confidently on your own initiative
  • A commercial and forward-thinking approach
  • Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • A full UK driving licence
