We have an opportunity to join a leading manufacturer that specialises in the production and supply of fresh produce. They are primarily involved in the farming, harvesting, and distribution of a variety of vegetables and salads. Their aim is to provide high-quality, fresh produce to retailers and consumers, ensuring that their products meet rigorous standards for freshness and safety.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our plant facilities. Your role will involve working on refrigeration air compressors, and maintaining the plant room.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on refrigeration air compressors and other plant equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Manage the upkeep of the plant room and other facility areas, ensuring they are safe and functional
- Implement and manage preventative maintenance schedules to minimise downtime.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conduct briefings, and deliver inductions to maintain a safe working environment
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in maintenance or a related field.
- Relevent electrical qualifications (NVQ Level 3, HND etc)
- Extensive experience working with refrigeration air compressors and plant room maintenance.
- Strong plumbing skills.
- Proficiency in using Excel for reporting and data management.
- A valid driving license.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
